College Football Pickem Reminder
11:13 PM ET on 9/8/15 by Jay Soester
Week 2's set of 25 games is now available for College Football Pickem. Congrats to Nathan Susanto for winning week 1 with 2015 points, one more than Joe Hiegel in second place. Jay Soester (1980), Steve Steffy (1958), and Andy Nemecek (1956) rounded out the top five.

After last week's full slate, we're down to the minimum of 25 games for Week 2. Only three games are without a ranked team in a somewhat lopsided week. Three Saturday matchups between ranked teams highlight the week, #19 Oklahoma at #23 Tennessee at 6 PM ET on ESPN, the big one, #7 Oregon at #5 Michigan State at 8 PM ET on ABC in a rematch from last year, and #14 LSU at #25 Mississippi State at 9:15 PM ET on ESPN. This week marks the debut of a new feature. The schedule page has the US TV Network which will feature the game as does the front page when mousing over the game time.

Week 2 starts with Utah State at #24 Utah at 9 PM ET on ESPN2. The week continues with two noon ET games on Saturday and two more 12:30 PM ET games before the traditional 3:30 PM ET and evening games. The final game kicks off at 10:30 PM ET with UCLA visiting UNLV.

Make sure to get your picks in before the scheduled start time of each game.

2:59 PM ET on 11/30/14 by Jay Soester
Week 15's set of 27 games across two calendar weeks is now available for College Football Pickem. Congrats to Bob Jacobs for winning week 14 with 1834 points and the best pick record at 23-7. Nathan Susanto still leads the overall standings heading into the final week with 22242, 388 more than Jay Soester in second with Steve Steffy rounding out the podium at 21730 points.

The season ends with 27 games across two weekends. This weekend has 14 FBS games and the FCS playoff second round. Next weekend has the FCS quarterfinals along with the Army-Navy game. The rankings on the FCS games are from the latest FCS Coaches Poll from November 24th. The playoff seeding can be found on the official bracket.

The pick making begins with UCF at East Carolina at 7:30 PM ET with ESPN doing the broadcasting. The week continues on Friday with Bowling Green vs Northern Illinois for the MAC Championship in Detroit at 7 PM ET on ESPN2. The Pac-12 Championship kicks off at 9 PM ET on Friday with #8 Arizona vs #3 Oregon in Santa Clara. This coming Saturday features a mix of Big 12 and AAC regular season finales plus various conference championship games on top of the eight FCS games. College Football Pickem Reminder
11:57 PM ET on 11/23/14 by Jay Soester
Week 14's penultimate set of games is now available for College Football Pickem. Congrats to Dave Simon for winning week 13 with 1959 points. He beat Tom Vobejda by a game for the best pick record on the week at 25-5. Nathan Susanto increased his overall lead to 389 points.

The schedule will have 30 games for the second straight week. This is the second to last game week of the season and the final semi-normal set of games for the season. I'd consider it normal if not for the seven games on Friday. Thanksgiving week is historic rivalry week. Texas and Texas A&M both return to their traditional Thanksgiving night game, but not against each other.

Week 14 starts with #6 TCU at Texas and LSU at Texas A&M at 7:30 PM ET on Thursday, Thanksgiving night. The TCU-Texas game will be broadcast by Fox Sports 1. The LSU-Texas A&M game can be seen on ESPN. The week continues with seven games on Black Friday starting with two games at noon and ending with Virginia at Virginia Tech at 8 PM ET on ESPN. The week concludes with 21 games in the usual Saturday window from noon to 10:30 PM ET.

Make sure to get your picks in before the scheduled start time of each game.

College Football Pickem Reminder
11:25 PM ET on 11/16/14 by Jay Soester
Week 13's full slate of 30 games for College Football Pickem is now set. Congrats to David Cords for winning week 12 with 1417 points, just four more than Tom Vobejda. Those two and Bob Jacobs managed the best pick record for the week at 17-8. Nathan Susanto maintains his overall lead by 236 points.

This week returns to 30 games for the first time in a while as most of the power conference games between non-ranked teams feature teams of relatively equal stature. Enjoy the underrated games from across the country this week before Thanksgiving stretches things out.

The week again starts on Thursday night with #12 Kansas State visiting West Virginia in Morgantown at 7 PM ET on FS1. The night continues with North Carolina at #25 Duke at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN. The other 28 games take place in the usual window between noon ET and 10:30 PM ET.

Please note that there's a stronger tilt toward earlier in the day than usual this week. Make sure to get your picks in before the scheduled start time of each game.

The pick display problem that had plagued the game while I was out of town as been resolved. I apologize for the issue.

Week 10's set of 25 games is available for College Football Pickem. Congrats to Dario Ambrozewiez for winning week 9 with 1713 points, nearly 100 more than David Cords in second. Ambrozewiez also managed the best pick record for the week at 22-3, Chris Wanned and Katie Tropp each went 21-4 behind him. Nathan Susanto grew his overall lead to 243 points.

The week starts off with #2 FSU at Louisville at 7:30 on Thursday with ESPN broadcasting. The other 24 games take place in a slightly extended window starting from noon to 11 PM ET. I left off a few good matchups for my fellow junkies to watch without fretting over a pick.
