MLB Standings Pickem has been finished well ahead of schedule. You are now free to submit your entries. You'll need to submit the standings portion of your entry before submitting the playoffs portion. Your cumulative record must come out to 2430-2430 or you'll be deducted points. The system will automatically calculate your record and any penalties once you have submitted your entry. Please notify me of any bugs as soon as possible.

Fantasy NFL Playoffs standings have been made official with their results now factored into the championship standings pages. Congrats to Mike Brekke for winning with an astounding 381 points and Chad Gumm for earning the most championship points with 19. Thanks to all who participated.

NFL Playoffs Pickem standings have been made official with their results now factored into the championship standings pages. Congrats to Donnie Massey for winning on 23 points and Cecilia Elliot for earning the most championship points with 12. Only members who scored 11 points or more had their ties broken through the official tiebreaking procedure as that was the final score to factor into the championship points earned for the game.

I had hoped to either create a complete Fantasy Winter Olympics game on the message board or create an Olympic Hockey pickem game run through the website, but I've had to focus my efforts in other areas of late and going forward. The game will still be available via this thread on the message board, simply reply with your entry in the format of the template to participate. Bonus Points will still be awarded based on the results.

| Fantasy NFL Playoffs Scoring Clarification |

Michael Jenkins fumbled for Dallas' defense after an INT on Saturday night with Reggie Brown recovering for Philadelphia. As a result, the Cowboys' defense has been credited with a lost fumble (-2 points) while Brown has been credited with a recovered fumble (+2 points). Those two stats won't show up in any of the displayed player stats on the game pages, but are factored into each's point total for the round.

I've accidently cleared out the Fantasy NFL Playoffs member database while updating the playoff stats. I coded an email log of entries as a back up for this instance, but to save time I didn't code a method for email logs of member log-in information. As a result of the latter, I've had to set everyone's password to whatever was used for NFL Playoffs Pickem, but I have added a link to the game page that will allow you to reset your email or receive an email reminder with your password.
My apologies for the inconvenience. The deadline for next week is next Saturday, January 16th at 4:27 PM EST.

If you signed up and marked "Yes" in the member drop down for Fantasy NFL Playoffs & NFL Playoffs Pickem, but now see that you're denoted as not being a member it's because you signed up for the league after the December 31st cut-off for members to join by and earn points for the 2009-2010 ASFL2 season. Fantasy Golf is the first game you'll be eligible to earn championship points for as these two games are currently running for the 2009-2010 season.

The first game to be run entirely on the website in league history has completed and Bryan Crouch gets the distinction of winning it. You can view the final standings on the game standings page and the final championship point totals on the championship points standings page.
Remember the deadline for NFL Playoffs Pickem is tomorrow at 4:27 PM EST. That is also the deadline for Wild Card Round lineups in Fantasy NFL Playoffs.

| Fantasy NFL Playoffs Now Available |

Fantasy NFL Playoffs is now available to join. Each week you'll need to submit a lineup of seven players (1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K & 1 DEF) that accrue points as they would in a standard ASFL2 Fantasy Football league. The catch is you can only use a player once through the entire postseason. Watch the standings and projected championship points standings update each week while also submitting a new lineup for each round of the playoffs.
The deadline for Wild Card Round Lineups is 4:27 PM EST on Saturday, January 9th.

NFL Playoffs Pickem is now available to join. It's the simplest official game in the ASFL2 lineup, simply predict the NFL Playoff winners in each game with a tiebreaker score and watch the results each weekend. The deadline for submissions is 4:27 PM EST on Saturday, January 9th.

The Scoring Key for College Bowl Pickem is now available to show the record for each conference and the current top 5 easiest games and top 5 toughest games on top of the results available on the Bowl Index page. Conference rankings will be updated daily once each conference that will participate in at least three bowl games has been involved in at least one bowl game.

With Army's loss to Navy today, UCLA earned the final bowl berth and College Bowl Pickem is now ready to go. Register for the game, but be sure to type your name as it appears in the ASFL2 Member's database (First Last format, case sensitive). From there submit your picks by December 19th at 4:27 PM EST. You can review and change your picks up until the deadline. Once the deadline passes, keep checking the game page for scoring updates. I'll be updating the bowl results as soon as I can once they're known and the game standings & championship points projections will update automatically with them.

| Fantasy Games Section Now Open |

With the debut of our first game, College Bowl Pickem, a new section for all games to eventually be moved onto the website from the message board or Yahoo! has been created. The hope is to have Fantasy NFL Playoffs & NFL Playoffs Pickem ready by the start of the NFL Postseason, but with Fantasy NFL Playoffs about halfway done, there's still a chance both will be on the message board this season. Watch the website and this section for updates throughout December.

The games are separated to the left based on their status with the league. Official games are part of our competition's game list and result in direct championship points earned. Unofficial games aren't part of the official game list and result in bonus points earned which can turn into championship points at the end of the season. They tend to be unique to ASFL2 at large, or at least hard to find elsewhere.
