ASFL2 NFL Survival Pickem Scoring

How it Works

Each week you pick one NFL team. If that team wins you move on to the next week and repeat the process. The last 35 members left in the group receive points with more points going to those who stay alive longer. Members will be allowed to join two groups- one at the start of the season, and a second chance group which will have its creation announced at some point between week 2 and week 6 of the season on the league message board and website.
In order to potentially earn points through the second chance group you must have finished 19th or worse in the original group (or have been eliminated in the same week as the member who finished 19th) and join the second chance group the first week of its creation or the first week after you've been eliminated from the main group. The second chance group will have a handicap for members who were eliminated earlier than the latest eliminations of those in the second chance group will have to make up those weeks in order to pass them in the second chance standings, i.e. If someone is eliminated from the main competition in week 2, and they start the second chance group in week 6, they'll have to survive to week 9 if they want to pass someone who was eliminated from the main group in week 4 and from the second chance group in its first week, week 6; giving them 4 wins to 3.
