My nightmare of a week continued with the website's server being down for two hours Wednesday evening (7:45 PM ET to 9:45 PM ET). As a result, I'm adding two hours onto the deadline for all picks that were due when the server went down. If you have any questions or problems, please email me as soon as possible.

The player database is now updated to reflect players who were kept for the upcoming season as unavailable. This should make it easier for you to plan your draft.

| Server Problems |

The website's hosting service is having database and mail server problems and as a result, neither are working particularly effectively. This will delay the process to finish filling in the Keeper Leagues vacant teams for Football & Hockey because the rosters won't be accessable. I'll gladly take this problem now instead of it occuring during the drafts. Unfortunately, I have no control over the issue and will have to wait it out after alerting them to the problem.
UPDATE: Things are functioning properly again. |

Yahoo! IDs and passwords have been sent via email for the top three divisions. The fourth division information will be sent once the final vacant teams are filled. Drafts are tentatively scheduled to begin at these times:

Second Division: 8/14 @ 12 PM ET
Third Division: 8/18 @ 12 PM ET
Fourth Division: 8/16 @ 12 PM ET

| Keeper Leagues Fantasy Basketball Drafts Available |

All three ASFL2 Keeper Leagues Fantasy Basketball 2010-2011 drafts are now available. Those involved can set their players to be kept for next season. Those who were relegated last season can keep up to four, while everyone else can keep up to five. There is also a limit of two players per position plus a utility spot that doesn't count against the two per position limit. Emails will be sent out with instructions for each draft in the next 24-48 hours. If you have any questions or comments feel free to reply to the drafts discussion thread on the message board.
The deadline to submit your selections is 11:59 PM ET on August 15th.

You can now email any other member of your division through the draft page via the "Send Email" link at the far right of the top navigation line. Member emails are still hidden (unless you send one, then someone can see the email to reply to). The feature is meant to be an aid to offseason trade negotiations.

Promotions & relegations have now officially denoted on each division standings page for the past season of both hockey & basketball. Congrats to those on the way up, good luck to those on the way down. I hope to have the drafts for next season for both sports together in the next few days along with the drafts for football.

| 2009-2010 Final Results |

With Fantasy Basketball's conclusion the final championship standings were determined and the inaugural winner is Mike Miles with 871 points. He edged out Jay Soester by four points after Jay edged him out by ten for the inaugural ASFL2 championship last season. Miles clinched the victory by advancing to the Fantasy Hockey championship game despite losing it. Ultimately, Miles credited the victory to advancing to the Fantasy Basketball playoffs in the final week of the regular season while Soester credits his downfall to Carlos Beltran's injury last summer and falling four regular season places in the final week of Fantasy Baseball. Let that be a lesson to all that every point can matter in any ASFL2 competition throughout the year.
Third place also came down to the end as Brad Wilson finishes on the podium via tiebreaker thanks to Kevin Whorton losing to Mike Miles in the Fantasy Basketball Premier Division third place game despite Wilson's losing to Jay Soester in the Fantasy Basketball Premier Division championship. Both finished on 814 points for the season. Matt Humpal finished fifth with 789 points. Colt Ciccone gets the award for lower division member of the year with an overall finish of 14th at 679 points despite participating in the Second Division of all four sports.
The coming season will see a bit of a tweak to the championship point scoring system to prepare for the possibility of a Fifth Division and to try to slightly improve the chances for a podium finish of someone participating in a single Second Division to compete with those who are in all four Premier Divisions.
The coming weeks will see the drafts put together for Fantasy Football, Fantasy Hockey & Fantasy Basketball to allow for members to designate their keeper players.

You can view the regular season standings, weekly win/loss record standings, roto standings, playoff brackets and projected championship point totals. I hope to keep them updated as close to weekly as possible.

The Fantasy Hockey standings are now updated through the end of the playoffs and include the final championship point totals earned. The Promoted & relegated members have been named officially on the message board. The standings pages will be updated with them in the next week or so with the draft pages for next season also created in the next few weeks.

| Fantasy Basketball Regular Season Results |

The Fantasy Basketball regular season results are now updated for all Keeper League divisions with the championship standings also updated.
The first ASFL2 Keeper Leagues champion will be crowned at the conclusion of the Fantasy Hockey & Fantasy Basketball playoffs. The top two have separated themselves from the pack, but the fight for what the league hopes to be the last trophy spot is still alive.

The Fantasy Hockey regular season results are now updated along with the championship standings.
It's a two horse race for the championship with Fantasy Basketball and the Fantasy Hockey playoffs still to be factored in. There should be around six people fighting to finish second or third.

| Third Division Mistake |

On March 1st at 12:11 AM, two players were defaulted to pick 159 of the Third Division draft, Jason Kubel & Elvis Andrus. To correct the mistake, I've moved Andrus down to the next defaulted pick (181) and kept that going down the line until pick 209 which makes Nyjer Morgan available.
All ASFL2 Keeper Leagues drafts have now begun.

Fantasy Baseball has filled for the 2010-2011 season. It would take about 7-10 new sign-ups by the end of February to ensure a Fifth Division is created. Yahoo! ID and passwords will be sent over the weekend with more draft time information.

The Fantasy Hockey & Fantasy Basketball standings pages have now been upgraded to the same format as the normal competition's standings for each game. They've also been updated through Sunday's results so that you can view the current weekly won/loss standings, roto standings and projected championship point totals. I hope to keep them updated each week, but there may be a few weeks without updates the rest of the way.

| 2010 Fantasy Baseball Drafts |

The ASFL2 Keeper Leagues 2010-2011 Fantasy Baseball Drafts have now been set up to allow for each division to submit their players to be kept for next season. The deadline to submit your 9 (or 8 if relegated from last season) players to be kept is January 31st, 2010. Those who were promoted or relegated last season have until November 10th to submit their choices for their new team. If I don't receive anything from you I will be determining your team next season. Your playoff results from last season determine the order in which you get to select your team from the three available.
